This is a vinyl LP pressing of Jamila Woods' debut solo album, HEAVN. Jamila's cultural roots, from her passion for Lucille Clifton's poetry, letters from her grandmother, to the late '80s post - punk style of The Cure, shaped the progressive, delicate, and minimalist soul of HEAVN. Originally released in summer 2016 on Closed Sessions, it's now being re - released by Jagjaguwar and Closed Sessions in October 2017.
