Gentle on My Mind

This is a vinyl LP pressing of the sixth album 'Gentle on My Mind' by the renowned American singer - guitarist Glen Campbell. Released in 1967 by Capitol Records, the album's highlight is the hit song 'Gentle on My Mind'. Campbell heard John Hartford's original version on the radio and was immediately smitten with this song about lost love memories. At that time, Campbell was a Capitol - signed solo artist but hadn't made a big public name. He gathered some of the Wrecking Crew session players, including Leon Russell, to record a demo at the Capitol studio. Campbell shouted instructions during the recording. His producer loved both the song and the recording. Without telling Campbell, the producer cleaned up the tape and released it, making it a huge hit for Campbell.

Using this vinyl LP is easy. Just place it on a turntable and use the tonearm to drop the needle gently onto the record. Make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition.
