Gathered Out of Thin Air is an exciting new double LP compilation by Halfhanded Cloud (John Ringhofer). It features sixty freshly mastered non - LP singles recorded between 2010 and 2019 from all corners of the world. This album comes in multiple formats and is compiled from seventeen different releases. Some of the sixty songs were only digitally released, like the 2015 twin home - taped sound collage pop releases Foiled EP No.1 & Foiled EP No.2. Others were only on vinyl, such as the 2011 DOVE EP (with a new mix) and the 2012 Blood Brothers EP. The 2016 Jiminy Circuits, a 7 - inch EP, is full of analog synthesizer song experiments. Many hard - to - find tracks originally appeared in various compilations, be it digital, on compact disc, given with festival tickets, or in CD - R zine compilations. Now, for the first time, you can have them all in one 2xLP, released by Asthmatic Kitty Records in November 2019.
