The album includes The Untouchables' signature hit 'Free Yourself' and other fan - favorites like 'Wild Child', 'Whiplash' and 'What's Gone Wrong!' Formed in 1981 during the early L.A. mod revival, inspired by The Boxboys, The Untouchables had members who quickly learned instruments or became vocalists. They signed with Stiff Records in early 1984. Concerts with big - name bands across California helped them gain a diverse fan base of whites, blacks, mods, punks, surfers, and rockabilly fans.
