This 2017 vinyl LP comes from a London - based French duo. Over three years in their South London home studio, Zooey crafted a brilliant collection of electronic retro pop songs. Matthieu Beck (formerly of Adam Kesher) and Marie Merlet, a long - time collaborator with Laetitia Sadier, create a cinematic and melancholic electro - acoustic sound. It draws on early Kraftwerk while also reminding you of Beach House or Metronomy. Mixed by Charlie Alex March (Nzaca Line and Veronica Falls) and Emmanuel Mario (Astroba, Julien Gasc).
