Description

This is a limited 180gm vinyl LP. Dexter Gordon, who started recording in the late - 1940s, had his Blue Note debut with 'Doin' Allright' in 1961. After a decade hampered by drug addiction and legal issues that restricted his output, this album marked his comeback. His Blue Note years propelled him back to the top, with a series of essential jazz classics. 'Doin' Allright' features a top - notch quintet including Freddie Hubbard on trumpet, Horace Parlan on piano, George Tucker on bass, and Al Harewood on drums. It presents bluesy hard - bop originals like 'Society Red' and showcases Gordon's amazing ballad skills on the standard 'You've Changed'.

To enjoy this 180gm vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable and use the tonearm to lower the needle onto the lead - in groove. Adjust the volume to your preference. When handling the record, always hold it by the edges to avoid getting fingerprints on the playing surface. After use, store the record in its sleeve and keep it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. If the record gets dirty, you can use a record cleaning brush to gently remove dust and debris.
