This album is both playfully experimental and highly refined. Like the best black - metal works, it gradually seeps into your subconscious. When you listen to it, you'll feel that the doom - inspired riffs, unique grooves, and mysterious interludes show a creative mind open to incorporating rare sounds in the often traditional black - metal genre. While it's hard to discuss Dodsvisioner without mentioning Xasthur and Burzum, Bergraven's black metal is less repetitive and only sometimes as hypnotic as its predecessors. The subtle tempo changes and wild experimental twists on Dodsvisioner mess with your mind, just like the mountains in the band's name can disorient weary walkers.

To use this vinyl LP, first, make sure your turntable is clean and in good working condition.
