People of the North, started by Kid Millions and Bobby Matador of Oneida, is an irregular yet ongoing offshoot of that experimental Brooklyn group. It always includes Kid and Bobby, often with other Oneida members. While the line between POTn and Oneida is blurry, its music is more focused on minimalism, repetition, improvisation, and a serious tone than Oneida's broader work.

When you listen to People of the North's music, just relax and let the unique minimalist and repetitive tunes wash over you. There are no strict rules on how to enjoy it - you can listen while working, relaxing at home, or even during a long drive. As this is a music product, there are no real maintenance requirements. Just make sure your audio device is in good condition. Also, be open - minded when listening to the improvisational parts, as they add a special charm to the music.
