Cooker (Blue Note Poet Series)

As you listen to Lee Morgan's fiery solo on 'A Night In Tunisia,' the opening track of The Cooker, it's astonishing that he was just 19 then. Recorded two weeks after his amazing performance on John Coltrane's Blue Train in September 1957, The Cooker was Morgan's 5th Blue Note album as a leader. On this swinging session, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Philly Joe Jones (who also played on Blue Train) team up with baritone saxophone master Pepper Adams and great pianist Bobby Timmons.

To use this album, simply play it on your music player. You can enjoy it at home, in the car, or while relaxing. There aren't many special notes. Just make sure your player is working well.
