Conversations With Myself

This is a vinyl LP pressing. In 1963, on February 6 and 9, and May 20, Evans recorded this album in three different studio sessions. He used the then - controversial overdubbing method, adding three different but corresponding piano tracks to each song. Evans creates an engaging blend of counterpointed lines and chords. The different tempos and shadings complement each other rather than clash. Also, his use of Thelonious Monk - like angular dialect and his unique musical discourse expand the horizons of his typically sparse harmonic inventions.

To enjoy this vinyl LP, first, make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the record gently on the turntable, and use the tonearm to carefully lower the needle onto the start of the groove. When the music is over, lift the tonearm and return it to its rest. Store the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. Avoid touching the playing surface with your fingers to keep it free from dirt and oil.
