Recorded during Gordon's career renaissance 'golden period' after he joined Blue Note in 1961, the tenor saxophone legend teams up with Freddie Hubbard on trumpet. The remarkable rhythm section features Barry Harris on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and the great Billy Higgins on drums. It belongs to the Blue Note Tone Poet series.
