Description

Recorded in 1956 for Tom Wilson's Boston - based Transition Records, 'Byrd Blows On Beacon Hill' showcases trumpeter Donald Byrd in a cozy quartet. Joined by Doug Watkins on bass, Ray Santisi on piano, and Jim Zitano on drums from the Boston area, it offers an intimate musical experience. This mono Tone Poet Vinyl Edition, produced by Joe Harley and mastered by Kevin Gray from original analog master tapes, is pressed on 180g vinyl at RTI and comes in a deluxe tip - on jacket with a booklet. Note: Excluded from site - wide sales/discounts, limit 4 per customer.

To enjoy this vinyl, first make sure your turntable is clean and set up properly. Gently remove the record from the deluxe tip - on jacket, holding it by the edges to avoid fingerprints. Place it on the turntable and lower the tonearm carefully. Sit back and let the beautiful music of Donald Byrd and his quartet fill your space. After listening, return the record to its jacket to protect it from dust. Keep the vinyl in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent warping. And remember, there are site - wide sales restrictions and a limit of 4 per customer.
