Blackout

At Gordy's July 4th 2011 cookout in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood, guitar player Christian Gordy and drummer Taryn Waldman met. With food, beer, and the American spirit in the air, they instinctively started creating massive cave - man jams without any direction or discussion. These jams were both party - worthy and powerful. In the next few months, they brought in bassist Justin Sherrll, and the music got louder and heavier. The name Blackout, which can refer to being drunk, a power failure, or a mob hit, is a perfect fit. If you're a fan of Acid King, Weedeater, Trouble, or Black Sabbath, you'll love Blackout.

If you're into this kind of rock music, just put on their tunes and let the energy flow. There are no strict rules for listening. You can enjoy it at home while relaxing, or play it at a party to get everyone hyped. As for maintenance, since it's music, there's no physical product to maintain. Just keep your music - playing devices in good condition. One thing to note is that the music is high - energy, so if you're in a quiet environment, use headphones to avoid disturbing others.
