Bells

This is a limited 180gm white vinyl LP pressing. First released in 1965, the nearly 20 - minute 'Bells' was originally one side of a clear vinyl LP, with the other side blank. Recorded at an ESP artists' concert at Town Hall on May 1, 1965, it features Albert Ayler's new group, including his brother Donald and Charles Tyler. The rich sound of 'Bells' shows Ayler evolving towards the grander sonic expression in 'Spirits Rejoice'. Note that 'Bells' here is a medley, flowing from 'Holy Ghost' through an unnamed theme to 'Bells' itself.

To use this vinyl LP, first make sure your record player is clean and in good working condition. Place the LP gently on the turntable and set the tonearm carefully on the edge of the record. Enjoy the unique sounds of Albert Ayler's 'Bells'. When you're done, lift the tonearm gently and remove the LP from the turntable. Always handle the LP by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches. Store it in a cool, dry place, and keep it in its sleeve when not in use to protect it from dust and damage.
