New Zealander Eddie Johnston, recording as Lontalius, released his debut album 'I'll Forget 17' in March 2016 on Brooklyn - based indie Partisan Records. He then moved to LA to craft his second album 'All I Have' with Grammy - winning producer Om'Mas Keith (worked with Frank Ocean, John Legend, Jay - Z) and Jim Fairchild (from Modest Mouse and Grandaddy). Johnston decided against a fully electronic R&B album, craving the energy of live drums. After a week with Keith, a unique experience for an artist who started from bedroom recordings and achieved international success, he collaborated with Fairchild. Their like - minded partnership was evident as Johnston could describe a U2 - like sound and Fairchild understood. The Surrender EP has over 500k streams since April 26th, and the debut single 'Make My Dreams Come True' from the new album got over 100k streams on Spotify in the first week.
